About MPBH

We used to work for the processors. Now we hunt them.

Merchant Processor Bounty Hunters brings more than 50 years of combined credit card processing experience to one job: making sure merchants pay a fair price to process cards.

Our Story

We started on the other side of the table

Our team built its careers inside the credit card processing industry. We set up merchant accounts, managed client relationships, and led the sales teams that sold processing. We know how pricing gets built because we were there when it was built.

Over time we got disenchanted with what we saw. Too often, processors charge as much as they can get away with. The extra cost hides in random fees with official-sounding names, rates that creep up quietly, and statements that seem designed to be hard to read. Most business owners never find it, because they're busy running their businesses.

So we switched sides. MPBH is independent: we don't sell processing, and we work only for the merchant.

The Hunter's Code

  • Work for the merchant. Never for the processor.
  • Tell it straight. If there's nothing to save, we'll say so.
  • Prove it. Every savings number is verified on real statements.
  • Stay on watch. Savings that don't last aren't worth much.
Our Mission

Hunt down the mysteries. Hold processors accountable.

Every confusing line item on a processing statement is a mystery, and a lot of them are hiding money that belongs to you. We're here to track them down and hold your processor accountable to charging no more than the market rate.

What We Do

How we bring the savings home

Analyze

We go through your statements line by line, free of charge, and separate real card-network costs from markup and junk fees.

Negotiate

We take the evidence to your current processor and push for market-rate pricing, with no switch required.

Monitor

We review your statements every month and go after any new fee or rate increase that shows up.

Put a bounty on your hidden fees.

Send us a recent processing statement. The review is free, and you don't have to switch processors.
